A demonstration and a blockade were held to try and stop this unsustainable project.

Neighbouring and First Nations communities are supporting Cherryville's request and asking the province to halt the project. Yet road building has now begun. The community is deciding its next steps.

Depending on what happens next, donations of money, food, and time may be required. Please "get involved" if you're willing to help stop government sanctioned destruction in a watershed. 

How this turns out may impact similar projects throughout the province. We need everyone who thinks protecting our watersheds is our right and duty.
